JAMMU, May 20: ‘Art of Giving’ (AoG) celebrated its Foundation Day here today with enthusiasm and this year’s theme was ‘Neighbourhood Good.’
The event was organized in line with the vision of Dr. Achyuta Samanta, founder of KIIT and KISS to promote a culture of selflessness, kindness and mutual support within local communities.
The events were conducted in districts Jammu, Srinagar, Budgam, Pulwama, Kathua, Baramulla, Udhampur and Poonch where the residents came together to celebrate the joy of giving and helping those in their immediate neighbourhood.
‘Art of Giving Coordinators & Brand Ambassadors-Jeevan Singh, Jasveer Rajput, Jugnu Bhagat, Sarfaraj Ahmad and Surender Kumar organized awareness drive in various parts of J&K.
Under the guidance of Puneet Pradhan, National president AoG and team including Mohit Pal Joshi and Jeevan Jyoti Ray, AoG celebrated the Foundation Say in 550 districts across 30 States & UTs and in 222 countries wherein community outreach drives were organised and food packets, clothes and essentials were distributed to needy families and individuals in local neighbourhood.
Also cleanliness and beautification campaign were started by volunteers along with poster making, skits, focused on the importance of helping neighbours.
