JAMMU, Oct 16: National Students Union of India (NSUI) State President Raqeeq Khan has appointed Anuj Manhas as new State General Secretary of the NSUI in a function held here today.
Iqbal Singh Garewal Incharge of J&K NSUI said that NSUI is committed to the cause of students.
He expressed hope that new State General Secretary will take the Union at the forefront with his experience and dedication.
Anuj Manhas belongs to a non political background and hails from the Doda District. He started his political carrier as an activist in 2015. He initially joined NSUI in 2015 as active member in Jammu Paramedical College. He worked in Delhi University Student Union election. He played a vital role in strengthening the organization at Paramedical Colleges.
Others who were present on the occasion include Sunny Parihar, Satish Sharma, Jatin Manhas, Ankush Raina, Rohit Choudhary, Khalil Ahmed, Amin Bhat, Amir Mir and Shabaz.
