MENDHAR, Nov 11: Tehsil Legal Services Committee Mendhar organized an anti-drug rally in Mendhar town in connection with the celebration of `Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotasav’.
The rally, which was attended by large number of students, was flagged off by LD Shazia Choudhary (Judge), Chairman of Tehsil Legal Services Committee Mendhar from School premises. The hugely attended rally passed through various roads of main market and Bus Stand area.
Addressing the rally, Choudhary urged the participants to pledge to work whole-heartedly against the menace of drug addiction. She stressed the need to spread the message far and wide to save the new generation from getting perished into drugs.
On this occasion Principal HSS Mendhar, SDPO Mendhar ZA Jaffry, SHO Mendhar Manzoor Kohli, Dr Parvaiz Khan BMO Mendhar, doctors, ddvocates and Civil Society members were also present.
