JAMMU, June 13: Jammu and Kashmir Police today arrested another wanted criminal in connection with the recent attack on a police party in the Bari Brahmana area.
Imam Hussain (27) of Lagotian, Miran Sahib, who had been evading arrest in multiple cases, including his involvement in the attack on the Station House Officer (SHO) of Police Station Bari Brahmana, Pushvinder Singh, has been arrested by a team of Police Station Bishnah, a police official said.
He said the arrest was made by a team led by SHO Bishnah, Inspector Sushil Choudhary under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura and SP Headquarters Jammu.
In a statement, Senior Superintendent of Police Jammu, Joginder Singh lauded the efforts of the team making the arrest and praised their courage and professionalism.
Meanwhile, police have launched further investigation into the matter to probe the accused’s links with other criminals operating in the area.
