JAMMU, Sept 13: Jammu and Kashmir Police in Pallanwala area have arrested a third absconder wanted in connection with an FIR registered in the year 2023.
The accused, identified as Bullah Shah of Chourakote, Sujhandhar in Reasi district, was apprehended by a special team from Police Post Pallanwala and Police Station Khour during an operation in the Pallanwala area in connection with FIR number 107/2023 registered under the IPC, PCA Act, and Arms Act, a police official said.
He said earlier on September 12, two other absconders-Rahil Khan of Miran Sahib and Mushtaq Ali of Kanachak-were arrested in the same case.
All three had warrants issued against them under section 512 CrPC by the Court of JMIC Akhnoor for evading the trial, he said.
Following their arrests, the police official said, the trio were produced before the court and later lodged in District Jail Jammu till September 20, as per the court directions.
