JAMMU, Mar 5: To manage the rush in the coming days, the Jammu Division of Northern Railway has decided to add an additional Third AC (3AC) coach to Jammu Rajdhani Express.
The additional coach to Train number 12426 will provide approximately 72 more seats/berths per trip, allowing more passengers to book confirmed tickets.
This coach will be temporarily added on March 7 and March 14 for a fixed period. The primary purpose is to manage the increased passenger traffic during festivals and peak season and reduce waiting lists.
Commenting on the facility being provided to passengers by Jammu Division, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Uchit Singhal said, “Jammu Division is committed to providing a better travel experience to passengers. The addition of additional coaches to the Rajdhani Express will not only increase capacity but also provide passengers with modern safety and comfort features. We are ensuring that passengers have a smooth and hassle-free journey even during peak season.”
