Annual Mindhal Yatra to begin from 1st June: ASDCSS

JAMMU, May 24: The Annual Mindhal Yatra, organized by Aadi Shakti Devi Chandike Sevak Sanstha (ASDCSS), Blassu, Doda, will be held from June 1 to June 6, 2025.
This was announced by Prof Daljeet Singh Manhas, president of the Sanstha in a press conference held here today.
The yatra will begin from Maa Chandi Temple in Blassu and traverses through various spiritual landmarks including Gouri Shankar Temple in Kishtwar, Maha Kali Temple in Sohal and culminates at Maa Chandi Darbar in Mindhal, Pangi, Himachal Pradesh.
Rituals such as Hawan, Bhaderwahi Kud, and night-long Jagran will be held at Mindhal on June 4.
Devotees, led by Pyar Singh, chief patron of the Sanstha, will carry the sacred Chhari Mubarik from different districts including Jammu, Kathua, Udhampur, Ramban and Bhaderwah.
The return journey will begin on June 5 and conclude on June 6 at the respective origin points. ASDCSS has appealed to administrative authorities and local Maa Chandi Sevaks across J&K and HP to extend support for the smooth conduct of the Yatra.
Langar (community kitchen) and other arrangements will be facilitated by volunteers and local management teams.
Among others who were present during the conference included Pyar Singh, Prem Singh, Ajay Sethi, Katar Singh, Ravinder Singh, Prof Shrikant, Satish Kumar, Muninder Singh Kotwal and Arun Manhas.
