BISHNAH, Sept 30: In a function here today, Government Degree College (GDC) Bishnah released its annual magazine ‘Sahityaki’.
The event was graced by renowned writer and educationist, Padma Shri Dr. Jitendra Udhampuri as chief guest.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Koushal Kiran Thacker, Convenor of the College Magazine Committee, who highlighted the significance of the occasion.
Dr. Shallu Samyal, Principal of the College congratulated the editorial committee, faculty and students for their dedicated efforts in bringing out ‘Sahityaki’.
The chief guest Dr. Jitendra Udhampuri, while releasing ‘Sahityaki’, emphasized the role of college magazines in nurturing the literary and artistic talents of students and in fostering a culture of expression and creativity.
The event marked a celebration of collective creativity and teamwork by faculty and students alike.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. Sunil Saliada, member of the Magazine Committee, who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, faculty and students for their participation and support in making the event a success.
