JAMMU, Sept 2: The annual hawan of Mata Bhuvaneshori Asthapan Chandpora, Harwan Kashmir was performed at Kheer Bhawani Tulmula, Janipur here.
The hawan was performed every year at the shrine of Mata Bhuvaneshori, Harwan by the Mata Bhuvaneshori Asthapan Committee but due to COVID pandemic this year the annual function could not be held there and a symbolic hawan was performed here to celebrate the occasion.
During the Hawan scholar L D Koul recited the Vedic Mantras and Tej Krishan Bhat, vice president of the Asthapan Committee organized the Varshik (annual) Hawan. The Hawan was performed with the objective of protecting the mankind of the ill effects of COVID Pandemic.
During the function, volume First Leela Hymns CD was released by Rohit Koul and H N Thaploo of Kher Bhawani Sanstha Tulmulla, Janipur. Volume 1 comprises of devotional essence of Late Leelawati Saqi Durani which is composed by Rajesh Khar and Shazia Bashir.
