JAMMU, Jan 19: The Annual Congregation of Jalotar Brahmin Samaj will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. This was decided in the meeting of the biradari, held here today under the chairmanship of Kuldeep Raj.
The Pooja shall start at 9:00 AM with Purnahuti at 11:00 AM. General House Debar of Jalotar Brahmin Biradari shall be held at 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM and followed by community langar.
The Executive Body of Biradari has appealed to the Community members residing in J&K and outside the State to participate in the Annual Congregation with enthusiasm and seek Blessing of deities.
The annual congregation of Sudan Brahmin community will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2025.
In this regard a meeting of the baridari under the chairmanship of President Madan Lal Sudan, was held here today.
During the meeting, it was decided that the rituals at the temple, including puja and havan, would commence at 10:00 AM, with the Purnahuti ceremony slated for 11:00 AM.
Following the rituals, the distribution of langar prasad will begin at 2:00 PM.
The executive committee has urged all members of the community to mark their presence at the annual fair and seek divine blessings.
Additionally, they encouraged active participation in the langar prasad distribution.
