Animal Husbandry employees threaten stir for DPC

JAMMU, Oct 11: Animal Husbandry Employees Association (Non-Gazetted), Jammu Division, has threatened to go on indefinite strike if DPC of the employees is not immediately conducted by the concerned authorities.
In a statement, the Association president Raj Kumar Sharma lamented the injustice meted out the Animal Husbandry employees of Jammu Division, who have been denied promotion and higher grade.
“Despite repeated representations and meetings with the Commissioner Secretary as well as Director and written directions from the Principal Secretary, the employees are still being ignored by the concerned authorities, which are repeatedly asking for APRs even as the same have already been submitted,” he said and warned the authorities not to force the employees to adopt agitational path.
