RAJOURI, Mar 5: A government employee, riding a two-wheeler was killed in a collision with a tanker in Tandwal area near Rajouri town here today. According to police, Vinod Sharma, an employee of the Animal Husbandry Department, was moving towards his home on his scooter when a tanker hit him from behind. The impact threw him off the scooter, and he fell unconscious on the road.
Eye- witnesses said there were no visible injury on his body, but he had internal injuries, and blood started coming out of his mouth after collision. The victim was taken to GMC Rajouri, but he died on the way. The doctor declared him dead upon arrival. The police have taken the tanker into custody and arrested the driver. The body of the deceased was handed over to the family after post-mortem.
