NOIDA, Mar 9: Renowned poetess, satirist and Gazalkar, Dr. Anila Singh Charak has been conferred prestigious Sahitya Vibhushan Award for her outstanding contributions to literature.
The award was conferred by Indian Net Books and BPA Foundation Delhi during a grand ceremony at Noida.
The event saw a gathering of prominent poets, satirists and literary figures from India and abroad including Dr. Chitra Mudgal, Mamta Kalia and Prem Janmejay.
Dr. Anila has already made her mark at both the national and international levels, having received numerous accolades and awards for her literary achievements.
She retired as the Principal of AEES (DAE) Mumbai, where she was honoured with the Homi Bhabha Award for Excellence in Administration. During her tenure, she made a lasting impact, particularly in promoting sports and encouraging physical activities within various educational institutions across the country.
