UDHAMPUR, Jan 29: Angad tractor was launched in J&K and is expected to create a revolution in Rural India as it is the appropriate technology for every Indian farmer.
On the occasion, Pandurang K Pole, Deputy Commissioner Udhampur was the chief guest and KS Sambyal, Chief Agricultural Officer, Udhampur was the guest of honour. Besides various senior officers of different wings of Agricultural Department and Horticultural Department attended the ceremony.
Angad, Farm implements and tractors by SAS Motors Limited, which are upto 50 per cent more economical than competitive products presently available in the market, was launched today in J&K through its first Authorized Distributor Outlet at Udhampur.
Angad Tractors are CMVR and Bharat Term III compliant and has obtained a Commercial Test Report validating minimum performance standards and compatibility from the CFMTTI, Budhini, making it eligible for re-financing by NABARD and Government subsidies.
Angad’s farm implements portfolio include a Power Tiller, Rotary cultivator and a Multifunctional Power Weeder named ANGAD Diesel Hal 6.0.
The products showcased in the launch ceremony were ANGAD 150D Tractor a 15 Hp tractor priced at Rs 1,75,000 and ANGAD Diesel Hal 6.0. (One machine Ten results) priced at Rs 80,000.
This wonder machine can also be harnessed for generating electricity, irrigation pumps, spraying, ridging, pulverizing, puddling etc.
