AYODHYA, Dec 28 : Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu arrived in Ayodhya on Sunday, where he offered prayers to Ram Lalla at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple and participated in religious rituals.
Speaking to the media, Chief Minister Naidu said that Ram Rajya is an ideal and benchmark for any government. He expressed confidence that the Ram Temple will play a significant role in strengthening spiritual values and reinforcing cultural unity.
On his arrival in Ayodhya, the Chief Minister first bowed before Ram Lalla and performed puja and archana according to religious rites, praying for the peace and prosperity of the country and the state.
Following this, the Chief Minister went to the Yagya Shala (sacrificial hall) located in the temple complex, where he offered oblations in the Vedic rituals being performed on the occasion of the Dwadashi (twelfth day) of Ram Lalla”s consecration.
By participating in the havan and puja amidst Vedic chanting, he expressed his faith in the Indian Sanatan tradition. After the rituals, he toured the entire Ram Temple complex and observed the construction work, architectural style, and arrangements.
During this time, the General Secretary of the Ram Temple Trust, Champat Rai, welcomed the Chief Minister, while Jagatguru Madhvacharya bestowed his blessings upon him. Devotees present in the temple complex also greeted the Chief Minister, which he accepted with folded hands. .
Earlier, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu arrived at Maharishi Valmiki International Airport at 11 AM by a government aircraft, where he was welcomed by Minister-in-charge Surya Pratap Shahi and MLA Ved Prakash Gupta.
