JAMMU, Mar 19: The election for the Executive Committee of Amar Singh Club, which was scheduled to be held on March 21, has been deferred.
On an application filed by Vinod Sharma and his election team comprising of KK Khosa, Shahnaz Goni and Vijay Saraf before him, the 2nd Additional District Judge Jammu ordered to hold the elections beyond the date of 21-03-2021, while stating that the order dated 15-03-2021 passed by the court in the appeal titled Siddharth Malhotra and Others Vs Amar Singh Club Jammu and Others shall not come in the way for holding elections beyond the date of 21-03-2021.
The Judge granted one week’s time to the Returning Officer and his team to conclude the election process by 28-03-2021.
