JAMMU, Jan 21: Reaffirming its strong commitment to road safety, public awareness and responsible mobility, a Republic Day road safety rally organized by the AM Group was held here today.
The rally was organized in collaboration with AM Hyundai, AM Bajaj and the J&K Traffic Police.
The rally was flagged off from Zorawar Singh Chowk, adjoining Bahu Plaza, Jammu and passed through Green Belt, Gurudwara Stretch, Gold Market and Nanak Nagar, before culminating at Hyundai Promise, Nanak Nagar.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from citizens and stakeholders, spreading a strong message of disciplined, safe, and responsible driving.
The rally highlighted AM Group’s people-centric philosophy and its continued commitment to community welfare.
The event was graced by chief guest Avny Lavasa, Administrative Secretary, Transport Department, Government of Jammu & Kashmir, who emphasized the need for collective responsibility and sustained awareness to reduce road accidents and ensure safer mobility for all.
The rally was further honored by the presence of guest of honour Amit Bhasin, SSP Traffic Police Jammu & Kashmir and Jasmeet Singh, RTO Jammu, who shared valuable insights on road safety norms, traffic discipline and responsible transportation.
The successful conduct of the rally reflected the visionary leadership of Chairman Jatinder Gupta, Managing Director Sanjay Mahajan and Directors Ankur Mahajan, Akshay Mahajan, Aryan Mahajan and Sahira Mahajan.
The event was held under the patronage of Parvinder Singh, chief patron, All J&K Transport Welfare Association.
