JAMMU, Oct 1: Aluminum wires worth several thousands have been stolen from Power Development Department (PDD) Office at Narwal.
As per police sources, AEE of PDD Office Narwal reported to police post Narwal that some unidentified thieves barged into the office and decamped with aluminum wires worth several thousands.
Acting on the complaint, a case under relevant Sections has been registered at Narwal police post and investigation started.
When contacted, SDPO East, Mohammad Rafiq Manhas, said that the thieves have been identified and will be behind the bars soon. He added that the thieves are women rag pickers.
