Almond declines on subdued demand

NEW DELHI, May 3:  Almond prices fell by Rs 100 per 40 kg in the national capital today due to low demand from retailers and stockists amidst adequate stocks on increased supplies.
Almond (California) prices were trading down by Rs 100 to conclude at Rs 15,500-15,900 per 40 kg and its kernel rates also eased by Rs 5 to finish at Rs 555-565 per kg.
Traders attributed the fall in almond prices to subdued demand from retailers and stockists amidst adequate stocks.

Almond (California) Rs 15,500-15,900, Almond(Gurbandi- new) Rs 12,000-12,100, Almond (Girdhi) Rs 5,500-5,600; Abjosh Afghani Rs 8,000-23,000.
Almond Kernel (California-new) Rs 555-565 per kg, Almond Kernel (Gurbandi-new) Rs 725-825 per kg. (PTI)
