JAMMU, Sept 19: Citizen’s Forum president, R.K Chadha and senior vice president, Daman Bhasin have urged upon the LG, Manoj Sinha, that instead of issuing licenses to Reliance to open general stores, it will be a great service to the Jammu people to allow small Super Store Markets in various JMC Wards giving jobs to the educated unemployed youth by getting them financial help from J&K Bank to run the stores under ownership rights.
In a handout, Forum said that there is lot of space available in the form of Government buildings which after vacating can be used as stores on first and second floors with ground floor for parking.
Forum leaders asked the Government that what special help it has provided to the ailing small businesses and MSME to rehabilitate the closed units in last two years.
They claimed that RBI has cheated MSME and small units in the name of COVID-19 pandemic while the bankers selected only favourites for help with loans.
