AYODHYA (UP), Apr 5 : Ram Navami, the birth anniversary of Ram Lalla, seated in a grand and divine temple in the city of Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram, Ayodhya, will be celebrated with great pomp on Sunday, a senior officer said here.
Divisional Commissioner Gaurav Dayal said that preparations for Ram Navami Mela and Shri Ram Janmotsav have been completed. “All preparations have been completed by the administration for smooth worship and other arrangements of the devotees coming to Ayodhya during the birth anniversary,” he said.
He said that preparations have been made keeping in mind the convenience of the devotees coming to Ayodhya. “Taking experience from the innovations made for crowd control during Maha Kumbh, special preparations have been made to provide facilities to the devotees. To protect the devotees from the sun and heat, canopies and mats have been arranged for shade at major places of Ayodhya Dham including the darshan route of Shri Ram Temple and the famous Hanuman Garhi,” he said.
Along with this, Dayal said that orders have been issued to provide cool drinking water to the devotees at all major places. He said that the Ayodhya Mela area has been divided into zones and sectors, and Zonal Magistrate, Sector Magistrate, and their counterparts have been deployed as gazetted police officers.
He said that given the heat, ORS solution has been arranged with all these officers and at all the temporary health centres set up in the Mela areas. “The Health Department has set up temporary primary health centres at 14 places in the Ayodhya Dham Mela area and deployed adequate number of doctors there,” he said.
He said, “Similarly, 108 ambulances have also been arranged at about seven places. As per the directives of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, for cleanliness in the Mela area, the Municipal Corporation of Ayodhya has deployed a team of dedicated sanitation workers and directed them to do regular cleaning in the morning, afternoon, and evening.”
The Divisional Commissioner said that the live telecast of Shri Ram Janmotsav will be done through LED and LED display boards at various places as per the live link, so that the devotees coming to Ayodhya can watch Shri Ram Janmotsav.
He said that all the devotees coming to Ayodhya should cooperate in the arrangements made by the administration, and in case of any kind of problem, they can get help from the officers deployed on the spot.
Meanwhile, Inspector General of Police (IG) Praveen Kumar said that security arrangements will be tight in the city of Lord Shri Ram, Ayodhya, during the Janmotsav on Sunday. “Although the security of Ram Nagari is already strict, yet vigilance has been increased,” he said.
He said that preparations are being made for the security of a large amount of forces for the security of the Ram Navami fair. “Checking has been increased at various places. The entire fair area, including the monastery and temples, is being monitored 24 hours a day. On Sunday, there is the festival of Ram Navami in Ayodhya, in which the birth anniversary of Ram Lalla seated on Shri Ram Janmabhoomi will be celebrated with great pomp, for which a large number of devotees are reaching Ayodhya,” he said.
He said that the maximum pressure of devotees is in the monastery and temples, and given this, security has been tightened. “Strengthening the security of the temple of Ram Lalla situated in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, the famous Hanuman Garhi temple, the Kanak Bhavan temple, the Nageshwarnath temple, the Dashrath Mahal, the Saryu coast and other important places, are being monitored round the clock through CCTV,” he said.
