JAMMU, Aug 26: In view of the prevailing adverse weather conditions, Government has ordered closure of all educational institutions and Government as well as private offices, except essential services in Jammu division, on August 27, 2025.

According to an order in this regard, issued today by the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, all educational institutions, including schools, colleges, universities, coaching centres and training institutes shall remain closed tomorrow on 27-08-2025.
Besides, all Government and private offices shall remain closed, except departments and services classified as essential (e.g. health, emergency response, utilities, law & order etc.). All concerned departments and institutions have been directed to ensure compliance and to disseminate this information to their respective stakeholders at the earliest.
