UDHAMPUR, Jan 12: With the arrest of both the absconders, Udhampur Police have apprehended all the three accused in the murderous attack on one Sourav Rathore at Slathia Chowk Udhampur on January 8.
According to Police, absconding Imran Chandail, son of Gulzar Ahmed of Gangera, Udhampur and Sparsh Bhat, son of Pintoo Ji Bhat, of Suryavanshi Nagar, Muthi, Jammu, have been arrested after sustained efforts by the team of Udhampur Police, led by SHO Raghubir Singh.
Third accused, namely Mohd Arif was arrested on the spot after the trio attacked Sourav Rathore, son of Maan Singh of Omala, Udhampur, at Slathia Chowk, Udhampur on January 8. Weapon of offence, a sharp edged Khukhri, was also seized on the same day.
A case FIR No.12/2025 was registered under Sections 109/BNS, 4/25 of the Arms Act in connection with the incident.
