JAMMU, Apr 21: All Jammu and Kashmir Panchayat Conference (AJKPC) condemned the brutal killing of a sarpanch and president of Sarpanch, Panch Association United Forum Kashmir namely Ghulam Nabi Mir, his son Firdous Ahmed Mir and nambardar Mohammad Ahmad Khanday.
While slamming the coward terrorists attack on the innocent Panchayat representatives and their family members, Anil Sharma, president of AJKPC have called it a failure of the Government to protect the lives of democratically elected Panchayat members.
He informed that unidentified gunmen also attacked the house of AJKPC provincial president Kashmir namely Bashir Malik Bashir. In the incident, Bashir had a narrow escape.
Sharma urged the Chief Minister to ensure immediate security cover to the AJKPC leaders who are on the hit list of terrorists.
