JAMMU, Sept 27: All Jammu and Kashmir Patwar Association (AJKPA) District Jammu held elections to elect the new office bearers.
Viney Kumar has been elected as District President of AJKPA Jammu, while Rajan Kumar as Vice President, Jagdish Raj Verma as Secretary, Munish Charak as Accountant, Gagandeep Singh as Cashier, Farooq Ahmed Thikria as Publicity Secretary.
Radhey Sham, Varun Dogra, Jagdish Raj and Ashwani Kumar were elected as executive members of the district body.
Later, a meeting was called by the newly elected District President Vinay Kumar and it was decided to raise the issue of the inter district transfer of Patwaries and to formulate the transparent transfer policy regarding the transfer of Patwaries in Jammu District.
Meanwhile, a delegation of newly elected office bearers of the District Body met Deputy Commissioner Jammu and submitted a memorandum regarding the inter district transfer and adjustment of Patwaries attached in different office.
Deputy Commissioner assured the delegation to redress their issues at the earliest.
