SAN JOSE: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today announced, after the end of his speech at San Jose’s SAP Center where he was addressing the Indian diaspora, that Air India will be launching a direct flight to San Francisco from December 2.
“I forgot to give you a good news, from December 2 Air India’s direct flight from Delhi to San Francisco will fly thrice in a week,” the prime minister maintained.
Introduction of the frequent flights fulfilled a long-pending demand of Indian IT professionals and more than 18,000 audience also rejoiced in support of the announcement.
Mr Modi also stressed on different schemes initiated by his government, saying “Even poorest of poor is ready to do something for the country.” (AGENCIES)
