UDHAMPUR, Oct 4: An Air Force jawan, riding a motorcycle, died when his bike collided with a load carrier near Channi Morh, Dhar Road, and here today.
The load carrier driver also sustained critical injuries in the accident, which took place when the motorcycle, bearing registration number RJ19SA-0331 collided head on with an opposite coming load carrier JK14B-9274.
Locals took the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared motorcyclist as brought dead. The deceased was identified as H/C (Air Force), Neeraj Kumar Shrivastava (40), son of Gopal Jee Shrivastava of Malvia Nagar Jodhpur Rajasthan.
The load carrier driver, identified as Suresh Kumar (36), son of Tali Ram of Ranga Ramnagar. Udhampur, was admitted in the hospital for treatment of injuries.
Police has registered the case in this connection.
