AIPRUF announces one day protest, demands restoration of old pension scheme

RAMBAN, Mar 20: Demanding restoration of old pension scheme, All India Pension Restoration United Front (AIPRUF) J&K UT called for one day peaceful protest at Jammu and Srinagar.
Addressing a press conference, AIPRUF Convener JK UT Tirath Singh Balwal announced one day peaceful protest at Jammu and Srinagar on 28th of March 2022 to demand restoration of old pension scheme in favour of all the NPS employees of Jammu and Kashmir who were appointed after January 2010 in pursuance to the call given by National Apex body.
Balwal said that the new pension scheme is totally against the survival of Government employees after retirement.
He appealed to all the NPS employees of Jammu and Kashmir to participate in the protest for restoration of old pension scheme.
“On 28th of March, the protest at Press Club Jammu will be led by National Convener AIPRUF Bhupinder Singh”, Balwal said and appealed to the DDC members, BDC members, Corporators, Sarpanchs, Panchs and Municipal members to participate in the protest.
UT J&K Secretary AIPRUF Farooq Ahmed Daing also highlighted the causes and consequences of NPS scheme in detail.
Others who spoke were Tahir Tantray, Zia Ur Rehman, Raghvir Singh, Kulbeer Singh, etc.
