JAMMU, June 15: All India Migrant Camps Coordination Committee (AIMCCC) has demanded revocation of the recent advertisement of Naib Tehsildar posts while strongly condemning it alleging that it restricts applications to only those candidates who know Urdu.
“This move is seen as a blatant attempt to perpetuate Kashmir-centric politics and appease certain language groups, rather than promoting merit and inclusivity,” AIMCCC said, adding, “In today’s digital age, where records and documentation are readily available in English and other languages, including Hindi, it is unacceptable to prioritize one language over others.
This decision not only undermines the diversity of the region but also creates uncertainty and exclusion for those who are not proficient in Urdu, said AIMCCC and demanded the immediate revocation of this advertisement and urges the authorities to reconsider their language requirements.
