AIKS demands procurement system at block, panchayats level

JAMMU, Sept 13: All India Kissan Sabha (AIKS) Jammu has demanded procurement system by the Government at block and panchayats level for paddy crops.
Addressing a press conference, Rakesh Sharma, leader of AIKS has demanded procurement system by the Government at block and panchayats level for paddy crops, so that the farmers can get proper rate of paddy.
He also demanded Kissan Mandi in every colony of Jammu city so that people can purchase vegetables on cheapest rate.
“Wave off interest of Agriculture Loan/KCC for the period of lockdown for the relief of farmers”, he said and demanded arrangement of seed and fertilizer by Agriculture Department at Panchayat level.
Among others present were Vijay Kumar, Chander Bhushan, Ashok Kumar and Harish Kumar.
