JAMMU, Feb 7: The Select Committee of Legislative Assembly on “The Jammu and Kashmir prohibition on Conversion of Agricultural land for Non Agricultural purposes Bill” met here today under the chairmanship of Minister of State for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Aijaz Ahmad Khan.
The meeting was attended by MLA, Mohammad Sharief Niaz and Charanjit Singh.
Discussions were held on various aspects of the bill with the senior officers of the Revenue, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Housing and Urban Development, Agriculture Production and Tourism Departments.
Among others Commissioner Secretary Revenue Department, B.A Runyal, Secretary Law and Parliamentary Affairs, G.H.Tantray and senior officers attended the meeting.
