JAMMU, Jan 9: The All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP), the apex body representing the printing industry in India, held its 271st Governing Council (GC) meeting here today.
The meeting was presided over by C Ravinder Reddy, president, AIFMP and hosted jointly by the Jammu Printers Co-operative Association Ltd. and the J&K Offset Printers’ Association.
This was one of the most important national-level gatherings of the printing fraternity, focusing on policy matters, industry challenges, and future growth strategies.
During the meeting, key issues affecting the printing industry were deliberated upon, including technological advancements, skill development, sustainability, government policies and strengthening collaboration among regional associations.
The Governing Council discussed initiatives aimed at empowering printers, enhancing industry competitiveness and promoting innovation and best practices across the sector.
Speaking on the occasion, Reddy emphasized the importance of unity and collective action in navigating the rapidly evolving printing landscape.
He appreciated the efforts of the host associations for organizing the meeting in Jammu and acknowledged the growing importance of regional participation in national decision-making.
Delegates expressed confidence that the resolutions and decisions taken during the meeting would contribute significantly to the sustainable growth and modernization of the Indian printing industry.
JKOPA, president Pankaj Sethi thanked the members for engaging in constructive dialogues and collaborative problem-solving to address the needs and challenges of printers on a national level.
He also extended gratitude to the president AIFMP for giving Jammu a chance to host such a successful meeting on in national level.
