JAMMU, June 19: A ‘Samajik Adhikarita Shivir’ for distribution of aids and assistive devices to ‘Divyangjan’ under the ADIP Scheme and Senior Citizen under RVY Scheme of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India is organized by the Department of Social Welfare Department in association with ALIMCO and District Administration, Samba today.
The Aids and Assistive devices of different categories with value of worth Rs. 4 lakh 73 Thousand were distributed free of cost among ADIP Divyangjan and senior citizens pre identified who were assessed during assessment camps organized by ALIMCO.
Raj Kumar Gupta, President of the Asthan, was also present during the distribution function. The beneficiaries of the area alongwith their family member were thankful for providing such devices and aids.
Gupta extended thanks to the Department of Social Welfare and Vicky a prominent member of our Dev Asthan, due to which efforts this has happened.
