KATHUA, Feb 4: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) in its meeting at Vishwakarma temple here, today accused all the previous governments of betraying the OBCs in the State and never showing any interest in settling their genuine demand as per the Mandal Commission recommendations.
The meeting was chaired by Prof Kali Dass general secretary of the Union and among others it was addressed by Master Yashwant Rai, S R Verma and Ashok Kumar president Vishwakarma community.
The meeting said in view of the role of all successive Governments towards the OBCs and other people belonging to down-trodden communities the people have lost faith in them.
It said the democratic Governments were supposed to come to the expectations of the people and solve their problems from time to time by dispensation of justice but the role of the previous PDP-BJP coalition was in no way better than the earlier NC –Congress coalition. The meeting said under these circumstances the Governor’s rule is the best option as the political parties at least can’t maintain their monopoly.
