KISHTWAR, May 23: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) celebrated 125th birth anniversary of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar here at Dak Banglow.
A large number of people belonging to OBCs /SCs/STs attended the programme, which was held under the presidentship of district president, AIBCU, Fida Hussain Ahanger.
Prof Kali Dass, State general secretary, AIBCU along with Central Committee members was chief guest while MR Bangotra was the guest of honour.
While speaking on the occasion, Jammu Province President Sandokh Chand, highlighted the deeds done by Dr Ambedkar for the upliftment of the poor by incorporating the rights of equality for everyone and for anyone.
Prof Kali Dass explained that the Backward Classes now could get education, due representation in every field, which is the miracle of Constitution of India of which Dr Ambedkar was the Architect.
Bangotra lambasted the State Government which did not implement the Apex Court’s Judgment of 1992 on Mandal Report in the J&K State. He also questioned the Deputy Commissioners of the State for such a long delay in OBC-Survey.
