RAMBAN, May 3: In a significant stride towards bolstering security measures, District Police Ramban under the command of SSP Ramban, Anuj Kumar on Friday made functional an advanced AI based Facial Recognition (FR) system at Navyuga Checking Plaza, Banihal.
A handout stated that this technology is designed to identify and track individuals involved in criminal activities including terrorists, OGWs, absconders, history sheeters, thieves and drug peddlers.
Implementation of this system marks a pivotal step in ensuring public safety and combating crime effectively.
SSP Ramban emphasized on the significance of AI based FR system in swiftly detecting and apprehending individuals with criminal records.
