Agnishekhar’s concern over Govt’s apathy towards genuine issues of KPs

PK holds national Apex Body meet

JAMMU, Dec 9: Dr. Agnishekhar, convener, Panun Kashmir (PK) cautioned the community against the continued callous apathy towards the genuine and legitimate geo-political aspirations of the community by the people at the helm of affairs both in Center as well as the UT of Jammu Kashmir.
Dr Agnishekhar, who chaired a joint national Apex Body meeting of PK, Youth 4 PK, and Kashmira Vahini today, to comprehensively review and assess the preparations for Maha Abhiyan Avahan, scheduled to commence from January 16, 2026, at Jagti, expressed grave concern on the 36 years of neglect of the displaced community. The meeting undertook a detailed review of the overall preparedness, commended the collective efforts of all teams, and offered valuable strategic guidance to further strengthen the movement.
The meeting brought together senior leadership of the movement, including Kamal Hak, national spokesperson, PK, Sanjay Dattatreya, its national coordinator, Shadi Lal Bakshi and Rakesh Kumar, senior leaders, Dr Kshama Kaul of Kashmira Vahini, Rahul Kaul, chairman, Apex Committee, Youth 4 PK , Vithal Chowdhary, president, Youth 4 PK, Digamber Raina, general secretary, Youth 4 PK, along with other members.
During the deliberations, Digamber Raina apprised the forum of the extensive groundwork underway for Maha Abhiyan Avahan, including the formation of dedicated teams across the entire periphery of J&K and the rollout of a structured door-to-door outreach and community mobilization campaign. Vithal Chowdhary briefed the leadership on the sustained outreach and coordination being carried out beyond Jammu to connect with Kashmiri Hindu organizations across the country, ensuring broad-based participation and national consolidation in support of the MahaAbhiyan.
Rahul Kaul highlighted the anticipated large-scale presence of revered Sants, Mahamandaleshwars, and leading activists from various Hindu organizations in Jammu during the MahaAbhiyan, underlining the growing spiritual, social, and civilizational support for the movement.
Kamal Hak affirmed that MahaAbhiyan Avahan is poised to emerge as a pivotal and defining movement in the long and just struggle of the Kashmiri Hindu community.
Reiterating the Central role of women in the movement, Dr. Kshama Kaul assured complete and unwavering support of Matra Shakti, emphasizing its active participation and leadership during MahaAbhiyan Avahan.
