A few transfers of some top Police officers in the State have reportedly been made without the approval of the Cabinet, as per the state’s DyCM. In fact he has conveyed his resentment and displeasure to the CM over such transfers and not taking the Cabinet into confidence.
There are two things involved in it . First even if it happened, it should have not been made public. Second that such bypassing the coalition partner in taking crucial decisions is not for the first time since this Government of the PDP and BJP came into power. While it strikes at the root of the coalition responsibility, at the same time looking to no resistance, even token one shown by the aggrieved partner has given more strength to the CM who shall probably keep on ignoring and not consulting the BJP Ministers. This is against coalition dharma.
