JAMMU, Mar 31: The Accountant General (Audit) here today released eights CAG reports of J&K, seven of which were tabled before the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly yesterday and one even earlier.
During a press conference, Accountant General (Audit), Tsewang Tharchin, released these eight reports.

These reports included the report of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) on Union Territory Finances for the year 2022-23; report of CAG on Public Health Infrastructure and Management of Health Services for the period ended March 2022, Performance Audit-Civil; report of CAG on Working of University of Jammu for the period ended March 2022, Performance Audit-Civil; report of CAG on Conservation and Management of Lakes and Water bodies in Jammu and Kashmir for the period ended March 2022, Performance Audit-Civil; report of CAG for the period ended March 2022, Compliance Audit Report Revenue and Public Sector Undertakings; report of CAG for the period ended March 2022, Composite Audit Report (Civil); report of CAG for the period ended March 2023, Compliance Audit Report (Civil-I) and report of CAG for the period ended March 2023, Composite Audit Report (UT Revenues).
Interacting with reporters, Tsewang Tharchin highlighted various aspects of the released reports and informed that earlier when the Assembly was not in sessions, these reports were tabled in the Parliament.
Ankush Kumar, Sr. Dy. AG (AMG-1/Admn) told reporters that the government authorities take cognisance of the shortcoming highlighted in the CAG reports and then they go for corrective measures which are mentioned in Impact Report of the top accountant’s office.
Mukesh Kr Bramhane, Sr. Dy. AG was also present in the press conference.
