Advocate killed, 4 injured in car-truck accident

RAMBAN, Oct 10: An advocate lost his life and four others were injured on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway at Seri area here today in a tragic road accident.
According to Police, a truck bearing registration number JK02CB-6795 loaded with apples hit a car of Swift make bearing registration number JK19A-1478 and fell over the car leaving five persons injured.

After the accident all the injured were immediately shifted to District Hospital Ramban, where one of them, identified as Advocate Baman Singh Bali, 35, son of Ram Singh, resident of Panchal, Ukhral, District Ramban, was declared as brought dead.
The other four injured persons were identified as Rahul, 15, son of Raghuveer Singh, resident of Digdol; driver of the truck, Faizam, 22, son of Wasim, resident of Doda; Ramneek Singh, 17, son of Man Singh, resident of Digdol and Nishant Singh, 15, son of Man Singh, resident of Digdol.
Sources informed that the deceased person was an advocate and he was on his way to Ramban District Court in his car when the tragedy struck.
The four injured persons were travelling in the truck and their condition was stated to be stable till last reports.
Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation.
