Advani to take up issue of murders of Hindu outfits with Govt

COIMBATORE, Aug 2:
BJP leader L K Advani today assured leaders of Sangh Parivar that he would take up with the Centre the issue of brutal murder of workers of various Hindu outfits in Tamil Nadu.
Representatives of BJP, RSS, VHP, Hindu Munnani, BMS and ABVP met Advani at Salem and requested him that the issue be taken up with the Government, party sources said here.
Advani told the delegation that he had strongly condemned the attacks and murders on the leaders last night and assured to take up the matter with the government.
Advani had yesterday termed as a “grim tragedy” the murder of Tamil Nadu BJP General Secretary V Ramesh on July 19 and slammed the “rise” in incidents of attacks on members of saffron outfits.
The former Deputy Prime Minister left for Bangalore by a special flight, from where he would go to Pune. (PTI)
