JAMMU, July 25: Food Safety Wing of the DECO Jammu Division along with Bahu Fort police seized 8.5 quintals of adulterated Paneer from a Katra bound bus, coming from Delhi in Jammu here today.
An official spokesman said that enforcement officers of DECO for keeping a check on adulteration, and malpractices, has launched an exercise. A team along with SHO Bahu Ashwani Kumar intercepted a bus bearing registration No. AR 20B- 0888 which was on way from Delhi to Katra.

While checking it, the team found suspected Paneer weighing about 8.5 quintal. The team led by Madan Magotra, Deputy Commissioner Food Safety Division Jammu and Pankaj Soni Deputy Commissioner ICIL , Jammu, also reached the spot on receiving information from police tea, The samples of seized Paneer were sent to the Lab analysis under the provisions of FSSA 2006.
