Sir,
Milk supply across the city of Jammu has been affected due to the protests of the milk-persons. To protest is our right but the timing of the protest should not be wrong. During the days of the holy Navratras, any agitation by the suppliers of milk is unjustified. That, however, does not mean that their problems should not be heard. The civic body officials deserve all the praises for taking steps to check adulterated milk being supplied to the milk vendors in the city. The menace of adulteration and tha also in milk is a crime and should not be allowed at any cost. It is better not to drink milk at all if it is spurious, adulterated milk. But to get pure milk at existing rates is not possible also. It is better to negotiate with the protesting suppliers and enhance the rates to keep them in the business and not leave it for being unprofitable. Strict checking from the Municipal and Health Departments should be intensified. Pure milk or no milk at all.
Yours etc…
