Adhoc executive body constituted merger of JKATA Working Committee into NGAGA

JAMMU, Jan 31: The Non-Gazetted Agricultural Graduates Association (NGAGA) has formally announced the merger of the JKATA Working Committee into NGAGA and the constitution of a newly formed Adhoc Executive Working Committee.
The meeting was attended by Director Agriculture Jammu, Joint Director Agriculture Inputs, Joint Director Agriculture Extension, other senior officers of Department, Ex Body of NGAGA, designated body of All J&K Agriculture Officers Welfare Forum (AJKAOWF), All J&K Agriculture Employees Association Jammu province and EJAC R president, Babu Hussain Malik.
In the meeting resolution was adopted that dissolution of JKATA Working Committee in recognition of the career progression of many non-gazetted agricultural graduates to gazetted positions, the house resolved to dissolve the JKATA Working Committee. This step was taken to address the representational vacuum within the cadre and to ensure that the organizational framework remains relevant and responsive to the evolving professional landscape.
The resolution further said merger into NGAGA The JKATA Working Committee has been formally integrated into NGAGA. This strategic merger consolidates organizational strength, enhances institutional coherence, and provides a unified platform for non-gazetted agricultural graduates. The integration is aimed at safeguarding collective interests, amplifying the voice of members, and strengthening advocacy for their welfare and professional advancement.
The Assembly endorsed the establishment of a newly constituted NGAGA Adhoc Working Committee. This body is entrusted with safeguarding the welfare of non-gazetted agricultural graduates, advancing their professional growth, and upholding their collective interests. It shall serve as the recognized representative voice of the cadre, ensuring effective advocacy, equitable participation, and sustained commitment to their overall development.
The NGAGA Adhoc Working Committee reaffirms its role as the official and recognized voice of non-gazetted agricultural graduates. It remains resolutely committed to articulating the collective interests of the cadre, fostering their growth, and strengthening their role within the agricultural sector.
