KATRA, Feb 3: To review the security, Deepak Kumar, ADGP Railways J&K Jammu, visited GRP Katra where he also inaugurated video conferencing cum meeting hall.
The officer held a Darbar and heard the grievances of officers/officials of GRP Sub Divisions Katra/Udhampur at GRP Lines Katra and redressed their genuine grievances. While speaking on the occasion, the ADGP interacted with each officer/official and appreciated the duties performed by them and emphasised to continue it with same zeal & zest so that a foolproof security can be provided to the yatries/passengers.
All the officers/officials were directed to be ready always to face any challenge and perform their duties with utmost vigil in view of the present security scenario of the UT of J&K. They were briefed with regard to proper dress code and told that orders issued by seniors from time to time, should be implemented in letter & spirit.
Stocks of basic amenities and welfare measures were taken and it was assured that whatever help was required by the officers/Jawans of GRP Katra with regard to basic facilities/welfare, would be provided.
On the occasion, Ranjit Singh Sambyal, SSP GRP Katra, apprised at length the ADGP Railways about the general view of GRP Katra.
Roop Raj, SO to ADGP Railways J&K; Naresh Singh, Addl. SP Katra; Bodh Raj, SDPO Railways Katra; Surinder Singh, SDPO Railways Udhampur/ All SHOs/I/C PPs of GRP Katra Coy Commanders of IRP 1st , 24th Bns & JKAP 7th Bn and Officers of RPF were also present on the occasion.
