ADGP Jammu reviews R-Day arrangements

JAMMU, Jan 21: The Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu Zone, Anand Jain, chaired a meeting here at the Zonal Police Headquarters to review security and logistical arrangements for the upcoming Republic Day celebrations.
Senior officers from various security and intelligence agencies, including the Army, BSF, CRPF, Armed Police, and District Police, attended the meeting.
As per a statement, the main focus of the meeting was to ensure the smooth and secure conduct of Republic Day events in Jammu.
The discussions covered several key areas, including law and order management, traffic arrangements, security measures, and coordination between different agencies.
Special emphasis was placed on maintaining high security levels, managing traffic efficiently, and ensuring the readiness of law enforcement and emergency response teams.
ADGP Anand Jain directed senior officers to make necessary parking arrangements and maintain a high level of vigilance in their respective areas.
He stressed the importance of careful planning and coordination to guarantee a safe and smooth Republic Day celebration.
Among those present at the meeting were senior officials such as the DIGs of CRPF, BSF, Traffic, Armed Police, JKS Range, as well as SSPs from various departments, including Jammu, Security, CID, Railways, and Traffic City, along with representatives from the Army and Intelligence agencies.
