JAMMU, July 20: Asserting that anger is growing among the unemployed youth due to unfair selection process, Apni Party provincial president, Jammu and Ex-Minister, Manjit Singh today said Government has disappointed the unemployed youth with multiple scams in recruitment processes which have surfaced in last several weeks.
“The faith which the youth had in Government has been lost and the frustration among the unemployed youth has increased. In this situation, the Government must do justice with the aspirants of Financial Account Assistance and Sub Inspectors of J&K and others who could not figure in the final selection list,” he said while addressing a joining programme here, today.
Over a dozen youth today joined Apni Party through Sukhvinder Singh Laddi at Gandhi Nagar in presence of Ex-Minister, Manjit Singh and other leaders including provincial vice president Ex-MLA, Faqir Nath, provincial secretary / district president, Jammu Urban, Dr Rohit Gupta, president, Apni Trade Union Ajaz Kazmi, provincial president Jammu, Youth Wing, Vipul Bali, district vice president Jammu Urban, Vaibhav Mattoo, Women Wing leader Pavneet Kour, provincial secretary, Youth Wing, Vishal Jotshi, vice president Jammu district Youth Wing, Sandeep Vaid and others.
While welcoming them into the Party fold, Manjit Singh hoped that their joining would strengthen the Party. The youth have lost faith in the Government and all other political parties. Apni Party which represents aspirations of the people of both the regions especially youth has emerged as a ray of hope among the people amid disappointment.
He said that “The Government has failed to conduct a fair and transparent recruitment of the advertised posts in various departments. The unfair selection process, nepotism and reports of corrupt practice in recruitment must be investigated to restore confidence among the people, especially the unemployed youth.”
He said that “Apni Party will not allow any kind of indiscrimination with the educated youth and people of all the Regions. We believe in equitable development of all areas and representation to every section of society.”
