Adbi Kunj organises Literary Meet

JAMMU, Dec 25: Adbi Kunj organized a multifaceted literary meet, here today which was presided over by a noted Urdu poet from Srinagar (Kashmir), Bashir-Ul-Haq.
Noted poet O.P Shakir was the special guest on this occasion whereas a well known poet of Gojri and Urdu languages Sarwar Chohan conducted the proceeding of the meet.
Addressing the participants, Sham Talib, Adbi Kunj president highlighted the importance of Urdu language. A detailed discussion was also held on the creation (Ghazals) presented by various poets.
Later, an Urdu prose (Afsana) ‘Toote-Patthar’ was read out by Sham Talib; Short Story ‘Mairo-Tairo-Gul’ was presented by M. Sarwar Chohan.
The poets who participated in the meet included Aarash Dalmotra, Mohamad Baqar Saba, Rajeev Kumar, Dr. Romesh Nirash, Sanjeev Kumar, Inder Singh, Uttam Singh Rahi, K.R Salgotra and Santosh Nadan.
The meet concluded with the vote of thanks by Aarash Dalmotra, Chairman Adbi Kunj.
