LOS ANGELES, Aug 16: “The Wire” actor Wendell Pierce has lost his home to the catastrophic flooding in Louisiana this weekend, over a decade after his childhood home was ravaged by Hurricane Katrina.
The 52-year-old appeared visibly shaken as he talked about the destruction to TMZ.
“I don’t know what I’m going to do. I just lost everything,” he said, describing the loss as a “private pain.”
On Sunday, Pierce took to Twitter to reveal the tragic news.
“My neighbors & I have flooded in Baton Rouge. I am reminded of the generosity given to my family during Katrina. Now we will care for you,” he wrote. (PTI)
