Accused wanted in TADA Act nabbed from Punjab

JAMMU, Aug 20: Khour police arrested an accused, who was involved in Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (TADA) Act after 18 years from his native village in Punjab.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Khour Police Station conducted raid and arrested an absconder, who was involved in TADA Act case and was evading his arrest for the past 18 years from his house.
The accused has been identified as Rajpaul, son of Dara Singh, a resident of Bidi Chand Senhey Taran Taran Punjab.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 92/1992 under Section 3/4 TADA Act with Police Station Khour and was evading his arrest from October 24, 2000. Arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC also stands issued against him by the Court of Law.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Khour Inspector Joginder Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Munish Anand, SP Rural Dushyant Sharma and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
